About

The Shinkansen Backpack is a studio project completed in the fall semester of 2018.  During this semester our studio traveled to Japan for inspiration, research, and direction for our project.

The goal of my project was to design and make a backpack that would be used for traveling or commuting in densely populated cities, while being able to adapt to different weather situations. My design was inspired by streetwear and outdoor gear, with a focus on usability.
